I had a fabulous Mother's Day. In the morning I went with my friend Christina to get pedicures. Which is one of my favorite things to do. Then we all headed to Oceanside beach for a couple of hours. It was so nice there. Not too hot. The water is still a bit chilly though. The kids found sea snails and Samantha was so excited to see them.

Today Alexys' kindergarten class sang for the school at their morning assembly. I forgot my glasses so I had to hold back the tears of joy!

It's National Scrapbook Day! Woo Hoo! A few of us gals gathered at Christi's for a 10 hour crop. She has such a beautiful house! I could just gaze for hours and get nothing else done. However I did manage to sneak some scrapping in there too and completed 7 pages! I am so excited can't wait to get them in their albums.

Today my hubby left for a business trip to Boston. I have prayed a million prayers that he has a safe flight and trip. He lived in Boston for a year and a nanny (manny) about 10 years ago. He is excited to go back and see it all again.

My track star. He doesn't like track but he is actually quite good at it. In order to be on the football team you have to be in another sport during the off season. Today he ran the mile in 5 min 2 seconds.

Today Samanta woke up weezing horribly and with a barking cough. I took her to her pediatrician and she gave her a breathing treatment and sent us home with an inhaler. She said she had the croup. We have not experienced this before but it is scary. She wasn't to crazy about the inhaler but after a couple of days she got the hang of it. She is feeling much better now.

My friend Ursula and I had a great time at a crop on Saturday. I made this cute mini album about our trip to the Carlsbad Flower Fields that we took last May. I love going to crops because it gets your creative juices flowing. All I have wanted to do this week is scrapbook.

A friend of ours invited my girls and a couple others over to enjoy an egg hunt at her house on Easter morning. They all had so much fun. She has the best yard for hiding eggs. This was our 3rd egg hunt of the weekend. By this one Samantha had it down! Can't wait for next year.

Darn another one gets away! The city we live in puts on egg hunts at the different parks in the neighborhoods. There were probably 500 kids at this one.

We had a wonderful day at our friend's house. They have rescued pigs, horses, llamas, goats, dogs and birds. Not sure how many animals they have but I would guess at least 30 on their property. Most if not all of them had been severely neglected by their previous owners. They decided to have a day and invite all their friend's and families to have a farm day. Alexys got to ride a very large horse. They gave all the kids bandanas to wear. It was so nice.

This is Pugsley one of the four pot belly pigs they have. He's so cute! Likes to be scratched behind his ears. They also have 4- 900+ lb hogs.

Soccer season has begun. This is Alexys 2nd year playing. She loves it! I am so glad to because I really enjoy watching her play.

Today our mom's club got to have a tour of California Pizza Kitchen. They took us all through the restaurant and showed us how things were stored and made. At the end the kids got to make their own pizza to eat. They also gave them gift certificates to come back and have a free meal. It was a lot of fun.

Spring has sprung here in California! I am so ready for it too. I happened to look out my front window this morning and saw the flowers had bloomed. They are so beautiful. I can't wait for the canyon to be filled with poppy's. It is an amazing site to see.

One of her favorite things to do is take a bath. She has learned to throw the toys out of the tub at me. I should say one of her favorite things to do is throw things down on the floor so mom and dad have to pick them up and now it has carried on to bath time too!

I can't believe it came today. It is here! This is my project 365 kit. I was one of the lucky ones to get online and order one. I wasn't sure if my order would go through or not since it got stuck at the check out. I thought either it won't go through or I would get two of them since I refreshed my screen. Well I only got one and it finally arrived! Woo Hoo!

This would be one of our 2 german shepards. Her name is Angel. We rescued her from the side of the rode almost 5 years ago. Someone dumped her and another dog on a very busy highway in Temecula. They called a friend of ours who rescues lots of animals and my husband to help them catch her. She is the sweetest thing and very spoiled now. We named her Angel because there must of been angels watching out for her that day. The little dog she was with wasn't so lucky.
I don't remember taking this picture. Maybe Alexys took it, she likes to use my camera.

Today we wanted something sweet to eat. We decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies. Alexys is quite independent and wants to do it all herself. They were delicious!

One of our favorite things to do is puzzles. Alexys has gotten quite good at them too. We are up to 500 piece puzzles now. Wouldn't you know there was one piece missing at the end.

Alexys was teaching Samantha to play pass the ball. She was having so much fun. They giggled for quite a bit. She is the best Big Sister anyone could ask for. Hopefully it stays this way forever.

While she had all the grandkids there to visit, she decided to get all of their handprints on a couple of canvas' to hang. They kids ranged from 7 months - 18 years of age.

Happy Birthday to my father in law! He turned 70 today. There was about 40 of us family members that traveled to Arizona to celebrate.

Everyday she asks her daddy if he is going to shave today. Today the answer was yes! Boy was she excited. She loves when he puts the shaving cream on her face.

Samantha was scared to death of this cute little pig. It has a button on top and when you push it it snorts its nose and moves back and forth. It is the cutest thing but as soon as she accidentally pushed that button it was all over. She crawled far away from it. Almost burst into tears.

Green Eggs and Ham! Yes Alexys' class celebrated Dr Seuss day today! They had the chance to tastes the green eggs and ham. Some kids didn't want to eat them at all. Alexys tried them and to her surprise they tasted just like regular eggs. They had several table filled with special Dr. Seuss activites. I love that I get to volunteer and help at her school for all these special events.

Today Alexys' had a special day at school. The class filled up their marble jar for good behavior and got to dress up in their costumes and wear them to school. Today was also her share day. Every week they have a letter that they learn and get to bring something that starts with that special letter. This week the letter was "I". She shared her iguana. We didn't bring the actual iguana but I did take a picture of her holding it and printed it out for her to share. She was so excited.
